The Hidesight
Hidesight was originally created to enable the combatant to defend against a larger enemy force. The main idea was to allow the user to stay protected and hidden, while still allowing him to engage the enemy. It features a unique construction, allowing it to have three selectable viewing modes. These modes combined with the ability to be rotated around the main sights optical axis, gives Hidesight unprecedented viewing possibilities.
The goal was to produce a light weight unit, that was easy to use, robust in construction and non sight specific. The sight was designed to suite harsh Finnish climate conditions, and other demanding operation areas. During design and prototyping new features were added to the design to make it even more usable, and to extend its life cycle.
